Five tabs:

1) [Deals](/dashboard/favorites?tab=deals) — individual products
2) [Suppliers](/dashboard/favorites?tab=suppliers) — companies to follow
3) [Categories](/dashboard/favorites?tab=categories) — product categories for newsletter targeting
4) [Saved Keywords](/dashboard/favorites?tab=keywords) — single search terms that trigger new-deal alerts
5) [Hidden](/dashboard/favorites?tab=hidden) — items you've dismissed

Each has its own tab in the [Favorites dashboard](/dashboard/favorites). The feature saves a single keyword or phrase (e.g. "Nike trainers", "Samsung Galaxy") — not a compound filter state — and alerts you via your Deals Digest when new matching deals are listed.

How do Saved Keywords (keyword alerts) work?

Save any search term (e.g. "Samsung Galaxy", "Nike trainers") by clicking the heart icon on the keyword pill in search results. Your Deals Digest newsletter will then include new deals matching your saved terms. Manage them from [Favorites](/dashboard/favorites) → [Keywords tab](/dashboard/favorites?tab=keywords).

Available to Free, Premium, and Premium+ buyer tiers (not available on the Standard tier — upgrade to Premium to unlock). Supplier Pro members of any buyer tier also have access.

Note: the saved item is always a single keyword or phrase, not a compound filter state — there is no "save this filter combination" feature. (Legacy name: this feature was previously called "Saved Searches" on the pricing page; it has always only saved single keywords, and both names now consistently refer to it as "Saved Keywords".)

What happens when I follow a category?

Following a category (via [Favorites](/dashboard/favorites) → [Categories](/dashboard/favorites?tab=categories)) does **two** independent things, controlled by two separate toggles on each category row:

• **Follow** (the heart icon) — adds the category to the signals we use to personalise your on-site recommendations and keeps the heart icon in sync on any deal card or supplier card in that category. The heart on its own doesn't put anything in your inbox.
• **Email subscribe** (the envelope icon) — raises that category's priority when we pick which new deals to feature in the **Category Deals** section of your [Deals Digest](/help/faq?q=newsletters) email. The digest is size-limited, so candidate deals across all your signals are ranked by deal quality and how well they match your preferences, and envelope-flagged categories outrank merely-followed ones in that ranking. Deals that don't make the featured cut are accessible via the "view the full digest on the site" link at the bottom of the email. There is no separate per-category newsletter — it's one combined digest. You can follow a category without subscribing it to the digest, and vice-versa.

You turn the digest itself on/off (and pick its frequency) in [Newsletters](/dashboard/newsletters); the per-category envelope lives on [Favorites](/dashboard/favorites?tab=categories). Digest frequency follows your buyer tier: **weekly** on Standard and Premium, **daily (optional) on Premium+**. Your followed categories and your [Product Interests](/help/faq?q=product-interests) in [Buyer Profile](/dashboard/buyer-profile) → [Sourcing Preferences](/dashboard/buyer-profile?tab=sourcing-preferences) are the same list — changing one updates the other. Because your Buyer Profile needs at least one product category, you can't unfollow the last remaining one until you add another first.

How do I hide deals or suppliers I'm not interested in?

Click the crossed-eye icon on any deal or supplier card to dismiss it. Hidden items won't appear in search, recommendations, or newsletters. Review or unhide them anytime from [Favorites](/dashboard/favorites) → [Hidden tab](/dashboard/favorites?tab=hidden).
