What are the buyer membership tiers?

Accepted Answer

• **Guest** (not logged in) — read-only browsing of deals, suppliers, and categories; no enquiries, no website click-through, supplier company names hidden on non-Pro profiles
• **Free** — adds a [Buyer Profile](/dashboard/buyer-profile), favorites, the [Weekly Deals Digest](/help/faq?q=newsletters), contact access to **Supplier Pro members only**, and a 500/mo [website-visit budget](/help/faq?q=website-clicks) (spendable only on Supplier Pro URLs — non-Pro URLs stay hidden at this tier, in both the /suppliers directory and on deal pages)
• **Standard** — adds enquiries on **any supplier via its deal listings** (Pro or non-Pro), the **Review tab on every deal** (product-reputation summary — see [Review tabs explained](/help/faq?q=review-tabs)), and makes non-Pro supplier website URLs **visible when viewed on a deal page** (still hidden in the /suppliers directory at this tier; still 500/mo cap)
• **Premium** — adds **full directory contact access**: Send Enquiry works on every standalone supplier profile, non-Pro website URLs become visible everywhere (directory + deal pages), and phone / email / LinkedIn details become visible on non-Pro profiles
• **Premium+** — adds the **daily** [Deals Digest](/help/faq?q=newsletters) cadence, [Custom Sourcing](/help/faq?q=custom-sourcing), the **Review tab on every supplier profile** (supplier-wide reputation summary — a sibling to the Standard-unlocked per-deal Review tab; see [Review tabs explained](/help/faq?q=review-tabs)), exclusive member discounts, and a higher **750/mo** website-visit budget

What can I do with a free account?

Question 4

Can I be both a buyer and a supplier?

Accepted Answer

Yes. WholesaleUp™ uses a dual-tier model — you hold a buyer tier and a supplier tier independently. Upgrading one doesn't affect the other. [Supplier Pro](/pro) includes Premium+ buyer access as a bundled benefit.

Common edge case: if you already hold Premium+ and then become a Supplier Pro (or vice versa), the Premium+ benefits **don't stack**. You keep a single 750 website-visits/month cap and a single 50-template enquiry limit — the caps are not doubled. Supplier Pro simply ensures you have Premium+ buyer access alongside your supplier tier.

Upgrade path: if you already hold an active Premium+ package when you buy Supplier Pro, tick the **Apply credit** checkbox on the Upgrade button to deduct [pro-rata credit](/help/faq?q=pro-rata-credit) for your unused Premium+ time from the Supplier Pro price. Credit is capped at the Supplier Pro price and never refunded as cash. The same rule applies from Standard or Premium.

Why should I upgrade from Free?

Free already lets you browse every deal and supplier, view profit calculations (markup, margin, RRP), save favorites, contact Supplier Pro members, and subscribe to the [Weekly Deals Digest](/help/faq?q=newsletters) — with a 500 website-visits/month cap.

Each paid tier adds on top:

• **Standard** — enquire on every deal (not just Supplier Pro), and the **Review tab on every deal** (per-deal product-reputation summary — see [Review tabs explained](/help/faq?q=review-tabs)). Still 500 visits/mo.
• **Premium** — full supplier contact details across the whole directory and saved keyword alerts. Still 500 visits/mo.
• **Premium+** — the higher 750 visits/mo cap, Custom Sourcing (submit a product request and our team finds matching suppliers), the **daily** [Deals Digest](/help/faq?q=newsletters) cadence (your keyword-prioritised digest, delivered daily), the **Review tab on every supplier profile** (supplier-wide reputation summary, a sibling to the Standard-unlocked per-deal Review tab), and exclusive member discounts.

Question 6

Do I need a registered business to buy?

Accepted Answer

No — anyone can [create a free account](/register) and browse deals, view profit calculations, and contact Supplier Pro members. You don't need a company registration, VAT number, or trade license to buy.

That said, most suppliers on WholesaleUp™ sell at wholesale quantities and trade prices, so having a business (online store, marketplace shop, physical retail) helps you make the most of the platform. Some suppliers may require proof of business before shipping.

What can I see without logging in (incognito / guest browsing)?

Accepted Answer

Guests can browse deals, suppliers, categories, the A-Z index, guides, and the blog — with profit calculators and public supplier info visible. Clicking through to supplier websites, contacting Supplier Pro members, saving favorites, and the Weekly Deals Digest all require a free account (no payment). Enquiries to non-Pro suppliers via deal listings and the **per-deal [Review tab](/help/faq?q=review-tabs)** (product-reputation summary) need Standard; enquiries from the full suppliers directory, full contact details, and the **supplier-wide Review tab** need Premium or Premium+; the Daily Deals Digest is Premium+ only.
