Your WholesaleUp™ account contains sensitive business information and communication history. Learn how to secure it with two-factor authentication, strong passwords, and ongoing vigilance.
Enable two-factor authentication at Dashboard > Account Access. It takes 5 minutes and dramatically improves your security. This single step prevents 99% of account takeovers.
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security. Even if someone has your password, they can't log in without your phone.
WholesaleUp™ provides 10 single-use recovery codes when you enable 2FA. Store these in a secure location.
Don't rely on memory. 1Password, Bitwarden, or LastPass generate and store strong passwords for you.
Don't use 'password123', your business name, or sequential numbers. A strong password is random and 12+ characters.
If one site leaks your password, attackers try it on other sites. WholesaleUp™ deserves a unique, random password.
Change your WholesaleUp™ password every 3 months. If you suspect any compromise, change immediately.
You can sign in with your Google, Apple, or Facebook account instead of a password. This uses OAuth 2.0, which is more secure because you're not giving WholesaleUp™ your password. Your authentication is handled by the social provider. If you use social sign-in, enable 2FA on the social account itself (e.g., your Google account).
Don’t share credentials
Create separate accounts with role-based access instead of sharing a login.
Use social sign-in
Google, Apple, or Facebook login uses OAuth—more secure than passwords.
Log out on shared devices
Always click ‘Sign Out’ on public or shared office computers.
Check your email quarterly
If your registered email is compromised, attackers can reset your password.
On login, you can choose to extend your session to 30 or 90 days. A longer session is more convenient but less secure (if someone steals your browser, they have more time to act). Choose 30 days for shared computers, 90 days for personal devices.
Enable 2FA today, update your password quarterly, and check your login history monthly. These small habits protect your business reputation and communication with suppliers.

You can trust a device for 30 days after completing a 2FA challenge. This means you won't need to enter a 2FA code on that device until the trust window expires.
WholesaleUp™ logs every login. Regularly check for unauthorized access attempts.
Enable login alerts
Email notifications for login attempts alert you immediately to suspicious activity.
