Make your supplier profile stand out to buyers. Covers completeness scoring, category selection, logo tips, and response time visibility.
Access 30,600+ verified suppliers and exclusive wholesale deals with the best margins.
Your WholesaleUp™ profile is your storefront. A complete, professional profile attracts more buyers, increases enquiry volume, and helps you land better deals. Learn what buyers look for and how to stand out.
Your logo is the first thing buyers see. Use a high-resolution, professional image that represents your brand clearly. Avoid blurry or overly complex designs.
Write 2–3 sentences highlighting your USP (unique selling proposition), years in business, and specialties. Focus on what makes you different, not just what you do.
Select all categories where you have live inventory. Buyers filter by category, so incomplete categorisation means lost visibility.
Include email, phone, website (if applicable), and business address. Transparency builds trust—buyers want to know how to reach you.
Add additional contact people — colleagues (sales, account management, technical support) that buyers can reach alongside your primary contact. Supplier Free accounts can add 1 additional contact; Supplier Pro can add up to 5. Managed separately at Dashboard → Account Contacts — these are people buyers can reach, not separate user logins.
Your public storefront is assembled from three separate dashboard pages — edits in each take effect immediately with no approval delay:
Inside Supplier Profile, your public storefront is split across four tabs. Across the four tabs, 12 fields are required and 32 are optional — the more you fill, the more buyers can find and evaluate you at a glance.
Your company name, primary contact details, and registered address are managed separately on Account Profile — they appear on your public storefront but aren't edited inside the four Supplier Profile tabs.
Buyers check your Verified Supplier badge to gauge trust. Verified suppliers receive significantly more enquiries than unverified listings.
Are you a manufacturer, brand owner, private-label / white-label supplier, wholesaler, distributor, importer, exporter, trading company, liquidator / clearance specialist, dropshipper, sourcing agent, or artisan / maker? Select every type that applies. How long have you been in business? Established, verified suppliers win more deals.
Can you serve their product focus? Incomplete categorisation makes your profile invisible to targeted searches.
Buyer reviews accumulate as you complete orders. A 4.8+ rating dramatically increases enquiry response rates.
Buyers scan your live deals. Active, well-described deals with reasonable pricing and stock levels build credibility.
What buyers see depends on two things: whether you're a Supplier Free or Supplier Pro member, and the viewer's own tier. When a profile is “anonymised”, buyers see a generic descriptor derived from your category and supplier type — e.g. “Electronics Wholesaler & Dropshipper” — instead of your company name, logo, or contact details.
On a Supplier Free profile
/deal pages, search results)./deal page (deal-context unlock); elsewhere they see the anonymised descriptor. On a Supplier Pro profile
Public to everyone regardless of tier: your company description, country, product categories, supplier type, stock grades, Verified Supplier badge, and product listings. Anonymisation only hides your identifying details (company name, logo, contact info), never your trading capabilities.
Your Verified Supplier badge is earned by passing WholesaleUp™'s pre-listing verification. Other badges include Pro Supplier (the blue PRO badge). Supplier Pro members also get priority placement ahead of Supplier Free listings whenever the two tie on deal rank and active sort position, plus Premium+ buyer access bundled in.
Update your profile monthly — add new categories, refresh your company description, or adjust team member details.
Write a clear, benefit-focused description: 'We specialize in bulk electronics liquidation with 20+ years sourcing from major retailers' beats 'We sell electronics'.
Add all product subcategories you support, even if you currently have few deals. This helps buyers find you.
Enable notifications so you respond to enquiries within 24 hours. Buyers who don't get a timely response typically move on to the next supplier — fast replies directly convert more enquiries into orders.
Keep stock levels accurate — out-of-stock deals should be paused or deleted, not left active and frustrating buyers.
Build a public reputation elsewhere — the Review tab on your profile aggregates a summary from external review sites, forums, and public feedback, so verified reviews on Trustpilot, Google, or industry-specific platforms feed directly into the reputation score Premium+ buyers see.
Link to your website (if professional) to show buyers additional portfolio or certifications.
A complete profile is the foundation of success on WholesaleUp™. Spend time perfecting it, and you'll see increased enquiry volume within weeks.
